If you are a business owner more than likely you need a logo.

Finding the right person or company to create a logo can become a task. Let's not mention cost and timeline. We have been in business for over ten years and have seen and worked on 1000's logos. We have also increased our knowledge of the wide variety of customers and their needs.
First things first, what is the best way to look for a logo designer?
That is easy and very difficult. With all the tools available to us, like cell phones and computers, we can search endlessly. Some of us start with search engines others use social media apps to see if we can find someone. Some of us even ask our friends if they know someone who "dabbles" in logo design. It is to say that finding the right designer and within budget is very time-consuming. What we suggest is to do research on the company or person you are hiring. Ask the following questions:

  1. What is your process
  2. How long have you been designing
  3. Do you have samples of logos you have done (this is where the internet is helpful, search)
  4. What is your cost, and what does it include
  5. What do I receive when completed
  6. How long does the process usually take

The process is critical. This is the discovery phase of any project we do here at MyCali Designs. Of course, there are situations when a customer asks for a simple clip art logo. If a clipart logo is what you are looking for, there are plenty of affordable resources on the web. If you are looking for something more substantial, the person or company you hire must ask the right questions.
  1. Tell me about yourself
  2. What does your company do
  3. Why did you decide to start a company
  4. How did you decide on the name
  5. What does it mean to you to build your company

These are just a few of the questions we ask.   Picking the right team to help you grow yourself and your company is essential. Understand that you are investing in your dream. If your deciding factor is price versus quality, you might want to ask yourself if this is a risk you are willing to take. Don't get me wrong; there are some fantastic designers; if you found one, hold on to them. Take the time to do your research and ask the right question; we are confident that you will find a logo designer near you .
